Job Description:

ENGEO is hiring experienced, mid-career Geotechnical Engineers!

Position Summary: As an ENGEO Project Engineer we would love to see you come in and hit the ground running. While working alongside peers and ENGEO’s technical leaders, you will gain experience working on a wide variety of challenging and world-renowned projects. You will be encouraged and supported to manage increasingly complex and geotechnically challenging projects.

A Day in the Life: "Ever-changing! In a given week I could be working on 10 different projects in different stages of design or construction. I have a good mix of heads-down work, fieldwork, and project management work. My advice is to find what types of projects, types of analyses, or skills you are looking to develop. You will get the opportunity to work on them - all you need to do is ask." - Teresa Klotzback, P.E., Project Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects

  • Develop plans and specifications, foundation designs, settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses, and seismic evaluation

  • Design earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, and landslide mitigation

  • Create geotechnical recommendations for the design and construction of private and public projects

  • Oversee field work including exploratory logging, observation of pier and pile construction, and other construction observation, such as observation of grading operations

  • Perform other relevant duties as required

  • Driven to go above and beyond in client service

  • Thrives on creative problem solving

  • Proven track record in delegating tasks

  • Ability to generate new work from existing and new clients
